The Pomegranate Juice propaganda poster is a great example of loaded words. On the poster there are the words “Cheat Death.” They are the only words that are bolded, meaning the advertiser wants the customers to receive the message clearly that people who drink the pomegranate juice would be able to live longer. The phrase,“Cheat Death” grabs the viewer’s attentions because cheating death is an impossible thing to do and also it is not a phrase used a lot in life. Under the phrase, “Cheat Death” and the picture of the Pomegranate Juice, there is the description of the juice and how only eight ounces a day of the juice can cure you from heart disease and strokes which are hard things to completely get rid of. The hanger around the juice’s neck is a good example of transfer, when it is compared to a human, because it is ripped off. This can symbolize how the juice can get rid of a person dying.
